The Theatre Deli Tarot

A sample of the Theatre Deli Tarot deck: The Fool, the Ten of Wands, the King of Cups, the Five of Swords, the Ace of Pentacles and the Strength cards

The Theatre Deli Tarot is made by 55 artists from our community, each given completely free rein to create an interpretation of their chosen cards in their own styles and media. The artists donated their time and talents to support our charity's work, as we continue to turn empty spaces into creative community hubs, and support early-career artists in the UK.

The deck's artists include Theatre Deli resident artists, long-term community members, current partner organisations, old friends, staff and trustees. They represent a wide range of disciplines: theatremakers, dancers, cabaret artists, drag performers, filmmakers, photographers and producers. They also represent a wide range of experience, perspective, age, (dis)ability, background, and engagement with tarot. Their work includes photography, drawing, painting, digital art, collage, text, and textile.

The result is a tarot deck of constant surprise, striking individual images, suggesting interpretations that are not bound to a single vision of the tarot, and instead are refracted through our community's creative worlds: a multiplication of meanings, stories and insights.

Decks are made with a 70% mix of materials from FSC-certified forests, recycled materials, and/or FSC-controlled wood.

Each deck sold helps Theatre Deli continue its unique work.

You can purchase a deck here or pick up one onsite at Theatre Deli Leadenhall Street.

Theatre Deli Studio & Classes Members can buy decks at a reduced rate onsite at Theatre Deli Leadenhall Street.

You can also receive one when you become a regular donor at the appropriate level.

Thank you to all our incredible artists, without whom this project would not have been possible.
