Performance and Event Hires Looking for a venue for your event or performance? We have three spaces with simple sound and lighting setups, along with our Bar and Cafe, all available for hire. Daytime Hire Rate Next Door: £29 (non-members) / £22 (members) per hour Studio 10: £29 (non-members) / £22 (members) per hour Studio 12: £33 (non-members) / £25 (members) per hour Evening Hire Rate (6pm -10pm) Next Door: £95 (non-members) / £75 (members) per 3 hour slot (6-9pm/7-10pm) Studio 10: £95 (non-members) / £75 (members) per 3 hour slot (6-9pm/7-10pm) Studio 12: £110 (non-members) / £85 (members) per 3 hour slot (6-9pm/7-10pm) Equipment Hire If you require theatrical lighting/sound during your hire in Studio 10, Studio 12 or "Next Door", you will be charged an additional £9 (non-members) / £7.20 (members) plus VAT per hour on top of the base hire. A member of Theatre Deli staff will induct you on how to use the working light, emergency lighting, lighting desk and sound desk at the start of your booking. They will show you how to power up/down, bring the standard stage lights up and down, connect the projector, use a microphone and/or play music/sound via an aux cable. They will NOT be able to support you in operating the equipment further. If you are not able to achieve the desired results in your rehearsal, please advise Theatre Deli staff during your session, and they will remove the equipment hire from your booking. They will NOT be able to remove this from your booking once your session has ended. Invited Audiences & Ticketed Events If you are planning on inviting an audience of 6 or more non-company members during the day or evening, you will need to make arrangements for this in advance so that we can ensure your guests are safe and provided a warm welcome. An additional one-off charge applies. For invited audiences: £42+VAT (non-members) / £36+VAT (members) For ticketed events: £72+VAT (non-members) / £50+VAT (members) Studio 10 as viewed from the lighting desk. Details Theatre Deli will: Provide a brief tech induction as above along with safe evacuation instruction Ensure your seating layout is safe for fire evacuation and run through a Health and Safety checklist Greet your guests and ask them to wait in the bar when they arrive. Theatre Deli will not: Operate technical equipment. This will need to be performed by a member or your team, or a specially hired technician. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to find you a technician for your show or sharing and always recommend you find your own Stage Manager, but we can make enquiries to see if any of our freelance technicians are available. Run the Box Office. You are responsible for your ticketing. Make welcome announcements, content warnings, or open the house. You will need your own Front of House person to do these for you. Allow its logo or other branding elements to be used in your promotional materials. Permit any use of naked flame, smoking or pyrotechnics during your performance. Please be aware with all non-programmed activity that Theatre Deli is a busy building with multiple rehearsals, classes and events taking place simultaneously during our opening hours. We cannot guarantee complete quiet during your rehearsal, sharing or performance. Please contact [email protected] to make arrangements. We can accommodate non-exclusive uses of our bar space for events such as open mic nights, poetry slams, comedy, gigs, cabaret, and quizzes. If you are able to confidently draw an audience of 20-40 people for an evening, we can accommodate this for no charge.
