Black Lives Natter presents the SpeakEasy programme which brings together a year-long series of events for Black & Global Majority individuals. The programme includes SpeakEasy Po’JaM, Po’JaM Co’LaB and SpeakEasy Page-to-Stage. Po’JaM is a bi-monthly music and spoken word open mic night, Co’LaB a monthly creative drop-in, and Page-to-Stage is a series of writing workshops. We are building a thriving creative ecosystem through writing, performance and community connection. Below are details on how to get involved with our programme of free and low cost events.

Po’JaM Co’LaB

Following our monthly Pop-up Bookshop, Po'JaM Co'LaB kicks off at 3pm in the Theatre Deli Cafe/Bar.

This creative drop-in is a great chance to network with fellow creatives and easily connect with the Speakeasy Po’JaM Team: Eljai Morais, Stephane Harivelo, Josh Olusanya & Olayinka Sobitan.

After the initial meet-and-greet in the Cafe/Bar, we'll move to a studio for a collaborative session where you can share projects, swap skills, sign up to perform for our bi-monthly open mic or just chill and chat. Po’JaM Co’LaB is your community hub, feel free to bring your instruments, ideas, laptops, writing materials, flyers, business cards – or just simply bring yourself! Co’Lab takes place on the first Saturday of every month, 3pm - 5pm at Theatre Deli, 107 Leadenhall Street, London, EC3A 4AF
