Warm yourself up this autumn with 7 exciting pieces of work in progress theatre! As the nights start to get cooler, SHIFT+SPACE returns with an immersive Pie & Mash shop, gender and genre bending poetry, plus live cooking to feast your theatrical taste buds on.

T(EA) BOY, by Amy Westray. 19th & 20th September

Shift+Space runs on a feedback model, to help artists develop their work further, so as an audience member you are part of their journey! Artists also receive 100% of their box office, with most tickets being Pay What You Can. Your donation will directly support the artists you come to see as well keeping our spaces open and affordable.

Opening up our 11th Season is T(EA) BOY on the 19th & 20th of September. You are invited to a ‘T- Party’ - a poetic mashup of physical theatre, clowning and cabaret. Electric Connections, on the 26th and 27th of September, invites the audience to access and analyse their connections with one another.

October opens with Blacked Out Blocks on the 3rd & 4th; a black satire about the illusion of creative freedom and how resistance is absorbed, systematized, and turned into a product. Immersive yourself in a pie and mash shop through a spoken-word theatrical journey in Plebbing Up on 10th and 11th of October. We continue on our food journey with Crowded Table on the 17th & 18th October. Come for the story of cooking, ritual, and making community - stay for the food!

Crowded Table, by lost boy theatre. 17th & 18th October.

Between Us, on the 24th & 25th of October, is a dance-theatre work that weaves movement, sound, and scenography to explore intimacy in its most unconventional forms. Finishing up our Autumn season, on Halloweekend, is Breathless. A spooky story of love, loss and regret told through shadow puppetry.
