Cuthbert House, Arley Street, Sheffield

Dates: 2022-2024

A micro venue with a 140-seat flexible theatre designed by Richard Gillet, rehearsal rooms and custom-made dance studio with sprung floor designed by Ken Furness, calm room and café bar. The external mural and internal artwork were created by Nicole Rose Munhawa

During its one year of operation, the venue enjoyed three seasons of work, programming a diverse offer including theatre, dance, film, comedy, music, exhibition and festivals. In 2023 the venue hosted the Social Model & More Festival in tandem with our Leadenhall Street venue in London. Productive relationships with local organisations were forged, and the space become a vibrant hub of artistic activity for local and regional creatives.

At Arley Street from March 2023 - May 2024 we:

- Programmed over 72 different performances in our theatre
- Hired our space to 89 different companies
- Supported 46 different artists with free space and R&D time
